Contribution on the Kinematics of Unconventional Worm Gears
摘要
The paper aims at the kinematic analysis of an unconventional worm gear, where the teeth of the gear wheel are bearings. Analysis of such unconventional gearing is difficult to perform because of the many unknowns that may arise. Thus, the paper will kinematically analyze this gear by fixing certain parameters. The study is much more laborious and there is industry demand for such gears, which justifies conducting studies of this type.
