Planning and Algorithm Design for Digital City Characteristic Blocks Based on VR Interaction Technology

With the rapid development of virtual reality (VR) technology, its application is more and more widely used in urban planning, especially in the planning of complex urban characteristic blocks. This paper discusses the planning and algorithm design of digital city characteristic blocks based on VR interaction technology, in order to enhance the visualization and interactivity of the planning scheme, optimize the urban spatial layout, and improve the communication efficiency of urban cultural characteristics. Analyzed the challenges and demands in current digital city planning, focusing on the potential of VR technologies to increase engagement and optimize the decision-making process. Proposed a VR interactive planning method, which combines the advanced planning algorithm with the user communication to realize the efficient planning and design of feature blocks. The effectiveness and utility are verified through a series of user experiments.
