Bibliometric Analysis of Satellite Internet Research Based on Web of Science

Satellite internet is closely related to the enhancement of national security capabilities and international competitiveness. In this paper, we used Web of Science Core Collection database as the data source, retrieving publications spanning from 1994 to 2023, employed visual bibliometric analysis tools Bibliometrix and CiteSpace to conduct a statistical analysis, including the literature growth trend, discipline distribution, journal sources, institution and country distribution, and main research streams. The results show that the research of satellite internet has entered a flourishing stage, and China is leading the world, while the quality of literature still needs improvement. Deep learning, satellite communication, GNSS and natural factors are the main research topics.
