Green Electricity Trading Model Based on Blockchain Technology

摘要

Green electricity trading is an essential element of electricity marketization reform and an important measure to achieve clean and low-carbon transformation. However, the transparency of the current green electricity trading model is not very high, and the public does not trust it. The article explored a green electricity trading model based on blockchain technology. By using blockchain technology, the decentralization, transparency, and credibility improvement of green electricity transactions were achieved. Firstly, the basic principles and characteristics of blockchain technology were introduced, as well as its potential applications in the energy field. Next, a study was conducted on the blockchain based green electricity trading model, which utilized smart contracts and decentralized trading platforms to achieve precise measurement and traceability of renewable energy. Through the data recording and verification mechanism of blockchain, the credibility (Max: 94.8%) and transparency (Max: 98%) of transaction data were ensured, and the intermediary cost (Min: 0) in traditional transactions was reduced. This study is of great significance for promoting the development of the green energy market.
