Construction and Application of Digital Mining 3D Modeling System

The concept of “digital mine” is the deepening and specific embodiment of the concept of “digital earth” in mines. The 3D modeling system for mining is a comprehensive product that integrates mining science, information science, artificial intelligence, and computer technology, as well as digital information, digital production, and intelligent decision-making and processing of digital management. The three-dimensional digital geological model has developed based on the concept of “digital mining” and related technologies. This method combines visualization technology with 3D modeling technology, constructs virtual models through electronic computers, and describes mine data, enabling miners to understand geological data and mine environment from different perspectives based on specific models. The digital mining 3D modeling system is a modern large-scale digital software that integrates digital technology into the software and has strong modeling capabilities, which can meet the 3D geological modeling needs of sediments in mining areas. At the same time, it can also calculate and dynamically manage the mineral reserves of the target mine, design an overall mining construction system, generate various construction progress work charts, and enable mining work to develop towards visualization, intelligence, and digitization, playing a light and heavy role in mining work. The experimental results show that a digitalized mining 3D modeling system can save 77% of labor costs, while computer-aided design can save only 65% of labor. The time cost of a digital mining 3D modeling system is only 3 weeks.
