The work examines the mandate programs of mayors of a sample of Italian municipalities, representing more than 20% of Italian residents, and analyzes their contents to extract and discuss references to LGBTQ+ and fluid dimensions. Language is observed here based on a pragmalinguistic perspective, as a system designed by the actor for its recipients, thus considering that linguistic elements provide important information for comprehending the context. The results of the study lead to the understanding of widespread approaches to diversity and to the definition of a framework of actions that enhance inclusive attitudes and languages within organizations.
