In recent years, the integration of digital tools has gained popularity in higher education. These tools have been used in several contexts to enhance the dynamic of classes, to engage students, and to improve learning outcomes. This paper presents some educational experiences involving the use of Kahoot, Mentimeter, Quizizz, and Socrative to motivate students in four different courses at the Porto Accounting and Business School of the Polytechnic of Porto. The results demonstrated a significant increase in students’ participation and motivation when digital tools were employed. The integration of these tools into these courses was found to be effective in creating a more interactive and engaging learning environment. Students exhibited a positive response to these innovative strategies, with the majority expressing a desire for further similar activities.
