Ethics in Digital Media from Santa Elena, Ecuador
摘要
This study aims to assess the informational quality of key digital platforms in the Peninsular region, namely EB, EO, and NC, to whether their information handling practices adhere to the standards outlined in national deontological codes. This research utilized observation forms and surveys to evaluate the content, management, and impact on the rights of Ecuadorian users within these digital spaces. Through analysis and user perspectives, it was revealed that all four platforms exhibit deficiencies in terms of objectivity, accuracy, respect for community rights, and adherence to journalistic ethical standards.
