Renal Trauma
摘要
Injury to the kidney is the most common injured organ of the urinary tract. Renal trauma may be direct or indirect and it can be due to blunt or penetrating injury. Hematuria is present in 95% of the cases. In the management of renal trauma, ultrasonography (US) plays an important role starting in the emergency room during the primary survey of the advanced trauma life support (ATLS) protocol as focused assessment with sonography in trauma (FAST). Contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) is a new modality superior to ultrasound for the detection of traumatic abdominal injuries in terms of sensitivity and specificity.
