Anterograde Approach for Ureteral Catheterization
摘要
Ureteral stricture arising from surgical procedure often results in hydronephrosis and renal failure. Ureteral catheterization with an antegrade approach allows for sorting out the obstruction, and reducing time and costs of hospitalization. The aim of this procedure is to demonstrate how equal are the outcomes of patients underwent ureteral catheterization with an antegrade approach compared to patients undergone retrograde ureteral stenting with a transurethral approach (in the absence of any ureteral stenosis) in resolving hydronephrosis and so renal failure and prolonged pain.
