Minimally Invasive Strabismus Surgery
摘要
The two minimally invasive strabismus surgeries described below were developed by your author (KW) to treat small deviations. These techniques can be performed under topical anesthesia with or without sedation, allowing adjustment in the operating room. They are more efficient, less invasive than standard strabismus muscle surgeries and preserve the integrity of anterior ciliary vessels. They provide an alternative to prism glasses, which is important as now a days glasses are thought of as being passe.
