Clinical, Imaging, and Histological Findings in Tumoral Lesions of the Scalp
摘要
In the realm of scalp lesions, a diverse array of conditions presents with varying clinical, histological, and imaging characteristics. This chapter delves into the intricate world of tumoral scalp lesions, focusing on pilomatricoma, trichilemmal cyst, infundibular cyst, lipoma, osteoma, dermoid cyst, and nevus sebaceous of Jadassohn. By exploring these lesions through the lenses of clinical presentation, histological examination, and advanced imaging techniques such as ultrasonography and MRI with surface coil, we aim to provide a comprehensive understanding of their distinctive features and diagnostic nuances. This multifaceted approach not only enhances our diagnostic accuracy but also guides effective diagnostic and treatment strategies, offering valuable insights into managing these common yet complex scalp conditions.
