Clinical, Imaging, and Histological Findings in Infectious Lesions of Trunk and Limbs
摘要
Diagnostic imaging plays a crucial role in the evaluation of infectious lesions affecting the skin, particularly on the trunk and limbs. Accurate imaging is essential for distinguishing between various types of infections, assessing the extent of involvement, and guiding appropriate management. Techniques such as ultrasonography, MRI, and CT scans provide detailed insights into the depth and spread of infectious processes, revealing key features such as abscess formation, necrosis, and inflammatory changes. By visualizing these lesions, diagnostic imaging aids in differentiating between infectious and noninfectious conditions, identifying potential complications, and facilitating timely and effective treatment interventions.
