Mt. Sinai and the Midianites-Kenites

The ancient poems locate YHWH starting point in Edom-Petra probably because he was known and worshiped there by Midianites-Kenites nomads even before the time of Moses and Israel. This assumption is based on the mention of YHW nomads in this area in Egyptian inscriptions predating Moses.
