The Location of Mt. Sinai in Hebrew Biblical Poetry

The ancient poems locate Mt. Sinai far from Egypt, in the southern part of trans-Jordan. This is the location of Biblical Edom and classical Petra. This was and is a volcanic area. YHWH is described in these poems as marching from these volcanoes but saying nothing.
