A Systematic Review of Patient Engagement and Its Organizational Impact

 Patient engagement has emerged as an important element in healthcare, shifting patients from passive recipients to active contributors in their care. While its benefits for health outcomes are well-documented, its impact on healthcare organizations’ efficiency remains underexplored. This chapter presents a systematic review of the literature, synthesizing current research on patient engagement strategies and their organizational implications.
