In this research, the researchers have explored the fundamental nexus between ecosystem services and climate resilience, aiming to provide a comprehensive theoretical framework for understanding their interconnections. Ecosystem services, encompassing provisioning, regulating, cultural, and supporting services, are crucial in bolstering the resilience of communities and ecosystems to climate change impacts. Our literature synthesis identified key themes highlighting how various ecosystem services enhance adaptive capacity, reduce vulnerability, and improve overall resilience. However, gaps still need to be in our understanding, particularly in quantifying the economic value of ecosystem services and scaling up successful interventions across diverse socio-ecological contexts. Future research should address these gaps, leveraging interdisciplinary approaches to refine theoretical frameworks and inform policy and decision-making processes. Ultimately, integrating ecosystem services into climate resilience strategies offers a pathway toward building more adaptive, sustainable, resilient societies. By recognizing the inherent value of nature and harnessing its capacity to provide essential services, we can navigate the challenges posed by climate change more effectively and safeguard the well-being of current and future generations.
