The first part of this chapter reviews urgent theoretical analysis of the nature of the DP by using a conventional on-shell scientific method and presenting their problems. Second, novel phenomena of DP energy transfer (Table  1.1 ) and their experimental grounds are described. The last part reviews examples of numerical simulations for DP energy transfer by using random walk model and presents their problems. Portions of Chap. 3 have been reproduced from Ref.
