Mapping the Evolution of E-Government Research: A Comprehensive Bibliometric Analysis
摘要
The research aims to map the evolution of e-government, identify academic interest trends, highlight leading countries and institutions in the field, explore its interdisciplinary nature, and pinpoint the most frequently mentioned keywords in e-government literature. It employs bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer version 1.6.20 to examine recent trends by accessing the Web of Science (WoS) database. The analysis specifically targets titles with “e-government” as the primary keyword, yielding a dataset of 2343 publications. This bibliometric review not only deepens academic understanding but also assists practitioners and policymakers in designing more effective e-government strategies.
