This study examines the relationship between Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) initiatives—such as green recruitment, green training, green technology, and green compensation—and sustainable performance dimensions (environmental, social, and economic) in Jordanian universities. Employing quantitative methods, the research gathered data from surveys of 294 faculty members to evaluate their perceptions of GHRM practices and sustainable performance outcomes. Results reveal a positive correlation between GHRM initiatives and sustainable performance improvements, including environmental conservation, social responsibility, and economic efficiency within these institutions. This contributes new empirical evidence to the literature on the impact of GHRM on sustainable performance in higher education, emphasizing the significance of integrating environmental sustainability into HR strategies and promoting a sustainability culture within universities. The study focuses on Jordanian universities, providing a detailed analysis of the long-term effects of GHRM on sustainable performance.

摘要
