This article will investigate the relationship between bilingualism and the loyal attitude of consumers towards online reviews written on English-speaking platforms. It aims to answer two main questions: to what extent does the used language in online reviews impact consumers’ trust, and what are the trust signals that can be found in these terms and testimonials? The research for this paper will use close reading, sentiment analysis, as well as corpus analysis. It will focus on examining linguistic elements of the online reviews and forums to have a better vision of this side of marketing research. It will also look at trust indications applied in reviews and testimonials.
