In recent years, with the advent of a new era of workplace diversity, workplace diversity and inclusion have attracted the attention of many scholars and practitioners. However, one aspect that has received only limited attention is the clear link between language accessibility and employee motivation. The purpose of this study is to examine in more detail the impact of language accessibility on employee motivation. With over 200 languages currently spoken around the world, this is a valuable area of research, particularly given the importance of employee motivation to organizational performance. The study considers three key elements—language accessibility, employee engagement and organizational performance—and highlights the importance of creating a language-accessible environment for employee motivation. The findings show that language accessibility is not only crucial for effective day-to-day communication, but can also have a positive impact on employee motivation by creating a sense of inclusion, engagement and various benefits to organizational performance. Organizational strategies can be tailored to address linguistic diversity to promote innovation, dynamism and recruitment of competitive skilled labor market. The study's recommendations include increasing language accessibility and flexibility through training, translation resources and interpretation and translation technology to empower workers and create an inclusive workforce for multilingual and multicultural workforce environment. In today’s global economy, businesses must respond flexibly to the diverse economic, social, cultural and identity needs of a large and diverse global economy.

Language Translation and Employee Motivation: Exploring the Role of Linguistic Accessibility
