This study investigates the influence of strategic intelligence on decision quality within Jordan's retail sector. Through experimental analysis and surveys conducted with 288 retail managers across Jordan, the study explores the impact of strategic information acquisition, analysis, and utilization on decision-making processes and outcomes. Structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis reveals a positive correlation between strategic intelligence and decision quality. Enhanced strategic intelligence capabilities, encompassing effective data collection, analysis, and dissemination, are crucial for improving decision-making quality, leading to enhanced performance, competitiveness, and customer satisfaction in the retail sector. Recommendations include investing in technology and analytical tools, fostering a data-driven decision-making culture, and providing training opportunities to enhance employees’ analytical and critical thinking skills. This study offers practical insights for retail managers and executives navigating a competitive marketplace, empowering them to make more informed and effective decisions.
