Laccase offers a great platform for designing appropriate technology to remediate BPA-polluted environments. This chapter aims to discuss the toxicological consequences of BPA contamination and its impacts on the environment. It also provides an overview of the progress made in this field, emphasizing the promising future of laccase as a new biocatalyst for the bioremediation of emerging pollutants such as BPA present in different compartments of the environment. In conclusion, this chapter highlights the potential of laccase enzyme as a sustainable and efficient tool for mitigating BPA contamination in the environment, underscoring the importance of further research to optimize its application in real-world scenarios.
