Green technologies in sustainable agricultural waste management address a multifaceted exploration of environmentally sound methods, practices and innovations employed to reduce, recycle and manage agricultural wastes to minimize their adverse impact on human health and ecosystem. The chapter delves into distinct areas of agricultural waste management, offering a rich tapestry of green solutions. Green technologies in wastewater management, especially biological treatments involving different microorganisms and microflora sets real-world examples of bio-remediation. The innovative potential of phytoremediation in wastewater treatment is also commendable as substantiated through compelling case studies in the text. Moreover, the staggering scale of the global food waste problem have also been discussed, suggesting anaerobic digestion, composting, biomethane production, and the valorisation of industrial-grade food waste; as possible green solutions. Lastly some lights are also thrown on the emerging green technologies like 3D printing and its potential for agricultural waste reduction, design sustainability and optimize production.
