Filters

In this chapter, we discuss some analog and digital signal processing circuits. Recently, digital signal processing has rapidly growing applications. However, the cost and simplicity of some basic analog filters makes them still useful. The first- and second-order passive filters RC and RLC are discussed, including low-, band- and high-pass. The active filters with operational amplifiers are discussed, starting with simple active filters. Highier-order filters are considered, including the Chebyshev and Butterworth.
