Electric Circuits and Devices

This chapter contains some basic concepts related to electric circuits. Here, we recall only the facts needed to well understand the content of the following chapters. We start with basic concepts of electric circuits, like the law of Ohm and the properties of resistors, inductors, transformers and other devices. The most important methods of circuit analysis, like the linearity, the Thevenin and Norton theorems are explained. The main electronic devices used in the book are described.
