Payment systems are evolving continuously, and we try to reach them as per customer requirements. The banking sector is updating itself from the point of view of new service generation by adopting new technologies. Technological upgrading leads to fintech in the banking sector. Through fintech, banks are providing digital payments, neo-banking, etc. With one click, all services are in the footsteps of consumers. Digital payments consist of digital commerce, mobile POS payments, and digital remittances. There is rapid growth in the Indian fintech industry, and, as per estimations, it will reach 150 billion dollars by 2025. According to global statistics, India has the world's third largest fintech industry. So the review and analytical paper focused on the growth and potential market for digital payments in India by focusing on global figures. Global and Asian digital payment quantitative data were compiled and conclusions were drawn. Worldwide and Asian digital payments were correlated with the Indian growth rate, and there is a positive correlation between Indian statistics and global figures too, which suggests that there is a potential and significant market for digital payments. Undoubtedly, the future is for digital technology innovations in the financial sector, and the new era will definitely create a tremendous market for digital payments.
