An IOT Based Smart Agriculture Monitoring System for Precision Farming

摘要

Agriculture is an essential occupation of our country and is vital to us. Soil nutrient assessment and crop tracking are essential for crop development and fertilization. The primary goal of this initiative is to enable agriculturalists to obtain live data (soil pH, humidity, temperature, and soil moisture) for effective ecological tracking, improving overall yield and product quality. A Raspberry Pi controller powers this clever farm system and includes a soil pH sensor, DHT11 sensor, moisture sensor, LDR, water pump, and rain sensor. Once activated, the IoT-based farm tracking system examines soil moisture, temperature, humidity, and pH. Collected data was sent to the IoT server for real-time tracking. The sprinkler system activates automatically when soil moisture falls below a certain threshold or after a specified time. A rain monitor is incorporated into this project to prevent automatic watering while it is raining. The overall setup can be monitored and managed remotely with the help of Mobile gadgets. This concept increases yields while offering improved management.
