Assessment
摘要
Millions of federal citizens apply each year to the compensation office to receive compensation for impairments caused by health disorders or disabilities. Doctors working in lymphology often assess a patient’s remaining ability to perform based on a negative or positive performance profile. For this, the basic principles of assessment activity must be known to enable the assessment of the GdB degree. Lymphedema or lipedema can impair a person’s ability to perform, leading to occupational or disability problems. Therefore, doctors in practices and clinics repeatedly deal with expert questions. Lymphology is a cross-sectional medical field. Thus, when assessing lymphangiological diseases, it is necessary to strictly limit oneself to one’s own field and request further expert opinions from colleagues. This is particularly true for lipohyperplasia dolorosa, or “lipedema”, both for assessing associated obesity and in the evaluation of the workplace by occupational physicians.
