Lymph function scintigraphy is a minimal-invasive method to support clinical diagnosis in cases of suspected lymphological drainage disorders of various origins. Its special domain is not only primary diagnostics but also the assessment of the course of therapy by determining the transport capacity of the vascular system. However, limitations of the method must be onsidered, a safe, anatomical assignment is not possible. At present, it is only possible for the legs to provide established normal values that allow an interindividual assessment of lymph drainage conditions. For the measurements of lymph flow in the arms, this is so far only possible intra-individually.
