Green composites, made with natural fibers, represent a significant advancement in sustainability due to their biodegradability and low specific weight. However, there are several open points concerning the variability in fiber properties and sensitivity to moisture. These challenges currently limit their applicability mostly to non-structural applications. Few studies address these issues, and this experimental study aims to fill this knowledge gap by investigating the mechanical properties of an interply flax-basalt woven fabric reinforced with epoxy resin SR GreenPoxy 56, through static and dynamic tests The laminate was characterized through tensile, flexural, and low-velocity impact tests, including Charpy and drop tower tests.
