Obesity is a growing problem all over the world, especially the United States, Europe, and Australia. Currently, bariatric surgery offers the only effective long-term weight loss therapy for morbidly obese patients. Sleeve gastrectomy (SG) is the most common procedure performed worldwide for the treatment of obesity. Obesity surgery is a safe procedure with very low rate of complications, but when complications happen it is a big issue. Complications that can be observed after sleeve gastrectomy are the following: anastomotic or staple line leaks, abdominal abscess, gastrointestinal bleeding, intestinal obstruction, and anastomotic strictures. It is important for the bariatric surgeon to recognize these complications and know which of them can be solved in a minimal invasive way in order to offer to the patients the best treatment. In this chapter, we describe the percutaneous approach for leaks after SG. The aim of this chapter is to describe percutaneous image guide abdominal interventions to treat complications after sleeve gastrectomy.
