Analysis of CO2 Mass Transfer Performance of Superhydrophobic Ceramic Membranes
摘要
The mass transferMass transfer coefficient is an important performance evaluation index of membrane contactorsMembrane contactor, which directly affects the gas fluxFlux and the carbon capture performance. The mass transfer coefficient can be improved by various methods, such as using the gas–liquid cross flow (Lee et al. in Sep Purif Technol 220:189–196, 2019), using high porosityPorosity hydrophobicHydrophobic membranes, adjusting the arrangement of contactor inner membranes and developing new absorbers (Ramli et al. in Sep Purif Technol 230, 2020). In this chapter, based on the sol–gel method and the impregnation method, surface modificationsModification of two kinds of Al2O3 ceramic membranesCeramic membrane with different membrane thickness are carried out to prepare superhydrophobicHydrophobic ceramic membranes. At the same time, structures and properties of the two kinds of membranes are characterized in detail. Finally, it is applied to experiments of the CO2 capture, and the influence of the superhydrophobicity on the mass transferMass transfer coefficient of the ceramic membrane is discussed.
