This paper presents a series of mathematical models from the reference ones, up to the concept model developed based on them. The presented mathematical models study the frontal collision between the vehicle and a rigid barrier. The developed model simulates the movement of the occupant during the frontal impact. After obtaining the equations of motion, the graphs of the kinematic parameters (velocity and acceleration) are displayed in MATLAB SIMULINK.

摘要
