This paper is the result of the documentation and research developed within the Laboratory of Traffic and Road Safety at UTCN in order to identify the carbon footprint of HCFV and its contribution to the greenhouse effect. Taking into account the current state of research on hydrogen use in transport, a comprehensive characterization of hydrogen production technologies for transport is proposed. The analysis of the greenhouse effect of this fuel, detailed by groups of traffic participants, has been developed in correlation with the Jasper Guidelines, considered as the agreed EU tool for greenhouse effect assessment of transportation. We undertook to propose a rapid empirical tool for calculating the greenhouse contribution of hydrogen production in line with the EU agreed toolkit for electric vehicles.

摘要
