Particularities Regarding the Design and Construction of the Anti-tipping Bar Placed on the Side of Trailers Intended for the Transport of Wood Material
摘要
Currently, trailers used for the transportation of wood material are operated on both public roads and unpaved forest roads. Due to this aspect, lateral anti-tipping protection devices play a crucial role in ensuring safety during transit. According to the R 73 ECE ONU Regulation, “vehicles in categories N2, N3, O3 and O4 must be constructed and equipped in such a way as to offer unprotected road users effective protection against the risk of falling under a side of the vehicle and getting under the wheels, along their entire length”. This paper presents the particularities regarding the design and construction of the anti-tipping bar placed on the side of trailers intended for the transport of wood material.
