The advantages of researching engine performances using chassis dynamometer are that the experimental results can be achieved at transitory regimes, which can be encountered in real traffic conditions of vehicle operating or are able to reproduce the automobile use. The paper presents a study on the dynamic performances of an engine fueled with four types of fuel: diesel and several diesel-kerosene mixtures. With each type of fuel, a couple of tests were carried out, the results of few being analyzed in this paper. As main result of experimental researches, we have identified that a proportion of 25% Kerosene blended with Diesel gives to the engine, as energetic performances, 1.1…5.1% more power and 3.3…7.9% more torque, compared to the reference ones, obtained in cases when the engine have been fueled exclusively with diesel.
