Effects of Retrofitting Diesel Engine Injector Nozzles, Focusing on Engine Performances
摘要
This experimental study investigates the impact of enlarging diesel injector nozzles on engine performance. The nozzle size was increased from 0.184 mm to 0.270 mm. Measurements conducted on a lab test bench under varied operating conditions reveal that larger nozzles enhance power output. This study provides new insights into the combustion dynamics with different nozzle dimensions, highlighting practical implications for optimizing diesel engine performance while meeting emissions regulations.
