Robert Merton Solow: Macroeconomics of Medium-Run Dynamics
摘要
Robert Solow was a neoclassical macroeconomist par excellence. He was awarded the Nobel Memorial Prize for Economic Sciences in 1987 for developing the neoclassical approach to growth theory. Solow’s view of the short-term is via the traditional IS-LM apparatus of Hicks; his long-term is viewed in terms of neoclassical growth theory. In this chapter, I try to codify the “muddled” middle-run dynamics; all the time phases are aggregative.
