摘要

Bangladesh and India possess a 4096 km common boundary, which defines the strategic partnership and collaboration of a variety of cross-border concerns. Several border difficulties affected such relations and resulted in fire exchange over disputed territories between the two countries’ border security forces. What are the primary issues and challenges along the boundary between Bangladesh and India? What is the possibility of investigation on the two nations’ border challenges? This paper broadly discusses cross-border challenges between Bangladesh and India and specifically addresses cross-border interactions between Bangladesh and India in the area of comparative borders, which opens up the grasp that we have of territorial boundaries’ practices and national boundaries in our socio-political, economic, geographic, and cultural areas. Data from the study were gathered from the Science Web (WoS), Scopus, and Google Scholar databases during the period between 1980 and 2020. The study has also been published in 38 different publications, including the newspaper Homeland Security, Strategic Analysis, and Int. J. Agril. Res. Innovation & Technology as well as the most prolific journal. To meet the objectives stated by the international agreement on border conflicts, both countries need to promote and develop border management research. Within future studies published in journals with high impact, the quality of research will undoubtedly be improved.
