摘要

There is growing interest in the use of a wide variety of technologies with a rehabilitation purpose, considered to be excellent tools for obtaining quantitative measurements of patients’ motor performance. In this study, for recording the experimental data, the Oculus Quest 2 device was used. A case is shown of two male patients with cervical spinal cord injury whose outcomes are compared to the performance of two healthy reference patterns. The patients have a C5-C7 AIS D injury, both of them with impairment of upper limb motor function. Two functional tasks are proposed using virtual reality: a path-following activity and the Box and Block test. From the real Box and Block we cannot obtain the average handling time of the blocks; by means of the virtual test, the handling time is higher in the patients and they performed a longer hand trajectory than the controls.
