摘要

Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is known to impair sensory-motor, postural stability, and balance functions. This study reports balance perturbation-induced changes in electromyography (EMG) signal characteristics, i.e., latency of EMG onset, EMG burst, and median frequency, in individuals with TBI compared to age-matched healthy controls. These findings will help understand the TBI-induced changes in neuromuscular responses that cause balance dysfunction.
