Personalized Robotic Balance Training to Improve Postural Stability and Balance in TBI
摘要
Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) affects sensory-motor functions, impairing postural stability and balance. Balance dysfunction often persists even in chronic stages as the current standard of care may not provide precise personalized therapy for sensory perception, motor planning, or motor response deficits. This study evaluates the effects of personalized robotic balance training (RBT) prescribed using quantitative evaluation of balance deficits. Preliminary data are shown on the effects of personalized RBT on balance biomechanics in individuals with chronic TBI.
