Product-Service System Development for a Lower Limb Rehabilitation Robot at Home Through the Human-Centered Design Process: A Korean Context
摘要
With the enactment of the Integrated Care Support Act and the initiation of the home visit rehabilitation program in Korea, the demand for home-based rehabilitation robots is expected to rise significantly. In response to this, this study aims to develop a Lower Limb Rehabilitation Robot at Home, specifically tailored to the Korean context using a Human-Centered Design process and Product-Service System framework. Through comprehensive literature reviews and field studies, key user requirements such as ease of use, portability, customization, safety, and integration with existing healthcare services were identified. The proposed PSS integrates a modular robot design with lightweight materials and provides services such as user training and customization in collaboration with physical therapists at home. This integrated solution aims to improve rehabilitation outcomes and enhance the quality of life for stroke survivors.
