IoT-Powered Vital Signs Monitoring System for Optimal Hospital Assistance

In an era where health concerns deeply, optimizing the use of medical resources is critical. To address so, our work presents a system for monitoring patients’ vital signs, aiming to detect possible clinical deterioration at an early stage. Our system utilizes body sensors to measure different vital signs, which are processed and transmitted through an architecture that provides a real-time visualization platform at last. The results obtained show how this proposal can significantly improve hospital care by reducing the duration of hospitalizations and the number of emergencies attended, as well as advancing towards better monitoring protocols. This demonstrates a high potential to transform healthcare and improve clinical outcomes.
