KPI as a Source of Incentive in an Organisational Performance Evaluation System
摘要
This paper is based on a curricular internship at a multinational. The first section presents a literature review covering topics such as management control, KPI, performance evaluation and the incentive system. The second includes an empirical study that was carried out to identify, analyse and validate the weakest points of the company's real case. The study found that employees lacked information when calculating bonuses; the instruments were not up to date; the supply chain needed to be improved; quality training was needed; standard times needed to be updated and there was a need to improve the maintenance sector. The last part is the analysis and conclusions of the applied methodology.
