Fragile Heritage in Folklore, Academia and Practice
摘要
This chapter reconstructs the relevant connections traced between historic vernacular architectures and the role they can play as cultural assets for the life and development of rural settlements. These points emerged from the observation of the inauguration rituals of an ancestral hall in Songyang County in 2018. The relationship between heritage and developmental practices is finally observed as an inescapable dilemma covering historic vernacular architecture.
