Creep Mechanics—A Long History and Current Developments
摘要
Creep mechanics is a branch of continuum mechanics that began to develop independently in the nineteenth century. In the 1930s, the first theories allowing a structural analysis considering creep were developed. Later, the one-dimensional approaches were gradually extended to three-dimensional, isotropic, anisotropic, etc. equations. In recent years, there have been many publications on the state of the art of research and numerical solution methods. Some important steps of creep and creep-damage mechanics will be discussed below. Finally, some contributions of the author’s group will be highlighted.
