Generative AI, particularly large language models like GPT, has transformed video game development. Traditionally, Non-Player Characters (NPCs) had static dialogues and behaviors crafted by writers and designers. This paper introduces a novel framework that extends the capabilities of GPT to control comprehensive NPC behavior within Unity. Using a parseable template, GPT manages various NPC actions, enabling dynamic real-time interactions with players. This framework simplifies NPC creation with natural language descriptions, enhancing NPC dynamism and streamlining development, thereby opening new possibilities for immersive gaming experiences.
